VPK Program in Miami
Give your child a head start with Cherry Blossom Learning Center’s Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Education Program. Run by our qualified teachers, we offer fun, accelerated—and free—learning opportunities for four-year-olds. Call today to learn more.
What Is VPK?
If you live in Florida and your child turns four before September 1st, they will be eligible to participate in a Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program.
This accelerated learning curriculum is specifically designed to prepare children for school, with an emphasis on building their reading, pre-math, language, and social skills. As you are no doubt aware, the most important growth and development in the brain happens before the age of five. To help your child become a strong student, it is therefore important to tap into their learning potential at an early age.
Children who have completed Cherry Blossom Learning Center’s VPK program have demonstrated higher levels of language skills, school-readiness test scores, and fewer behavioral problems once they enter school. Call us today to learn why.

VPK Eligibility Criteria
At Cherry Blossom Learning Center, our VPK program is close to universally accessible. Regardless of family income, VPK is free of charge to all four-year-old children in Florida. The high-quality learning opportunity builds a strong academic foundation.
VPK uses educational materials for specific stages of your child’s development to prepare them for school. The only criteria are your child must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1, reside in Florida, and not participating in the Gardiner Scholarship Program.
